Bug Description

In Hardy, MLdonkey does not open/listen to the required ports for the eMule network, and hence gives low ID.

Output from: netstat -an | grep "LISTEN"

tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4000 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4001 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:139 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4431 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4080 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:20052 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:631 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:445 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
tcp6 0 0 :::22 :::* LISTEN
and some high ports that I left out for readability
20052 is the mldonkey port. 4080 is the port for the browser interface. Those are open indeed.

However, at least ports 4662 and 4666 (eMule) should also be in the list

Or do I miss something?

Thanks

By default, MLDonkey gives you a random port for the emule network.
You could set it changing the option 'ED2K-port' in the MLDonkey config, to use the 4662 tcp port.

It's not a MLDonkey issue. Only a configuration misunderstood.

Changed in mldonkey:
