System crash with caps and scroll lock leds flashing

Bug Description

This has happened to me only since upgrading from hardy to intrepid
I have had two of these crashes in the last two days.
yesterday I was running:

openoffice3.0
gvim (2 instances)
gnome terminal
firefox 3.0.3
Nautilus

today I was running
gnome terminal
gvim
firefox 3.0.3

uname -a : Linux robbie 2.6.27-7-generic #1 SMP Tue Nov 4 19:33:20 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

Just curious if you disable your wifi if this issue no longer occurs? I've seen other reports of system crashes related to iwlwifi. You may also want to try installing linux-backports-modules-intrepid to see if it makes a difference. Do you see any sort of kernel panic or oops at the time you witness a crash?
