[feature request] canvas transformations

I'd like to group objects with a rectangle and use that as a canvas. I.e. I transform the canvas somehow (e.g. turn it into a path and form it into a trapezium) and all the objects grouped with it are skewed accordingly.

This would be useful to transform flat objects into a perspective.

The development version supports effects being applied to groups of objects. You can find Envelope and Perspective under Path effects.
