Bug Description

Hi,
I am not sure if the package is right, but I have this problem on my kubuntu 8.10 (both 386 and amd64).

I have added a NFS device icon on my plasma-desktop.When I click on it, the nfs share directory cannot mounted.
The message error say that only root can mount it.... but my entry on /etc/fstab say that the user can mount it:

my_nfs_server:/share_dir /media/nfs-clt nfs auto,users,wsize=8192,rsize=8192,bg,nolock 0 0

If I run from shell the mount command, with normal user privileges, I can mount this nfs share directory.

The problem persist both kde 4.1.2 and 4.1.3

Again, but only on amd64 version of kubuntu 8.10, the NFS share is not automounted at the boot time...

Regards

users may mount via command line but not out of kde plasma. Msg: "only root can do that"

Confirming due to upstream report and changing package to kdelibs since this is a solid issue. Also attaching upstream report.

Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. But don't worry! This issue is being tracked by the KDE developers at: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=172023
Once fixed in KDE, it will be included in Kubuntu once the KDE version the fix is in in reaches Kubuntu.

Thanks!
