kde4 forgets display resulution

Bug Description

I am using KDE 4.1.2 on Kubuntu 8.10.
1. I change the display resolution in the "Systems Settings"-"Display" section.
2. I reboot
3. KDE does not oparte with the resolution that I defined in step 1, it uses the default.
4. I go back in the "Systems Settings"-"Display". As soon as I click on the icon the correct resolution is activated and everything works correctly (I do not need to change anything in the settings menu, what ever is selected is just not loaded during startup).
