There must be at least a "other" option in the distribution field : what if I don't use Ubuntu or one of the listed distributions ?

Then you can't use Launchpad to file bugs on it.

Ah, when the hell will every distro and open source projects use the same bug tracker ?!?

As I am used to Ubuntu, I thought the Launchpad was this "universal" bug tracking system. Thanks anyway.

Realistically, when Launchpad supports filing bugs in all external bug
trackers, and all other distributions and projects us Launchpad
natively. I find it really cool that you expect Launchpad to be
universal -- we want it to be universal, of course, but we have a way to
go to get there. Thanks for the encouragement :-)
