[Intrepid] Fn+F7 does not switch LCD/external VGA on Lenovo X300

Bug Description

Switching between the internal panel and the external VGA via Fn+F7 is not possible in Intrepid on a Lenovo Thinkpad X300 notebook. xev does not generate any output when pressing Fn+F7. Moreover, /var/log/acpid does not receive any event. lshal -m reports "computer_logicaldev_input_5 condition ButtonPressed = switch-videomode". If I remember correctly, switching LCD/VGA used to work some day between Intrepid alpha-3 and final.
