I got about the same errors with linux-image-2.6.25.2-2-386 and 2.6.27-9 after trying to upgrade to intrepid. My firefox also started tilting, while trying to browse pages with java-scripts. Now I lost my dvd-drive. Should I downgrade, or could it raly have to do with nvidia-module?
