Bug Description
Binary package hint: wordpress
Same as bug 227547 but for 8.04, Wordpress indicates new version is available and administrator should update but latest version from repository (2.3.3-1ubuntu1) is installed.
How are cases like this supposed to be handled in Launchpad? i.e. affecting multiple supported versions.

Actually, bug 227547 was about hardy as well. Let's continue discussion there to make sure the fix is backported.
