Bug Description

I have installed on this system (ubuntu 8.10) last nvidia driver (downloaded from their download site), but i have problems with screen refresh rate (it only 50 Hz - and normally should be at list 70). I installed Envy and I tried to change the nvidia driver from 177.80 in 173 which was recommended by Envy... and I got this error
