Pidgin improperly displays graphics and soon crashes

Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

It will fail to display icons everywhere in the program, obtain logs, and write to logs randomly and sometimes crash because of this.

The following image gives you an idea of a sudden breakdown.
