Firefox opens links clicked through Thunderbird to fullscreen

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Updated intrepid 32 bit install.
Click link in a Thunderbird email and firefox goes to full screen blocking out the entire screen including the upper taskbar and AWN applet on the lower half of screen.

This does not happen with links clicked inside of a firefox tab or other applications.

The only way to get ff back to original size is to

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I've tried to reproduce this using firefox 3.0.3+nobinonly-0ubuntu2 and thunderbird 2.0.0.17+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 on intrepid and i can't get it to fail. If this is reproducable then please provide a step by step guide to doing this, thanks.
