Difficult to search packages when reporting bugs

Bug Description

The popup dialog window for searching for packages has these usability issues:
1) The window is very small and has both horizontal and vertical scrollbars
2) One cannot skip ahead more than 5 pages after the first page. To advance to page 150 (and that is where ubiquity is when searching on "ub" as I have no idea how to spell this word) one must click through over 20 pages.
3) Clicking outside the box does not close it, and if the "cancel" text is not visible then it is not obvious to the user how to close the box.
4) The items are not always in alphabetical order. For instance, searching for "launchpad" gives these items in this order: "kio-sword, lptest, launchpad-answers".

My two cents about this:

It would be nice to also support binary packages in the search and give the corresponding source package it should be assinged to. 'apt-cache showsrc <binpkg>' isn't really documented on every corner. And without that knowing that something like a bug in libqt4-core should be assinged to qt4-x11 is somewhat impossible.
