Bug Description

Hi! I just installed OpenOffice.org 3 in Ubuntu 8.10, and I noticed that it's impossible to select an icon set other than Human, default or automatic (which are both 'Human'). I installed the packages for the "Galaxy" and "Crystal" styles, and when I try to select any other and close the "Options" window, the icons aren't changed, and if I open the options dialog again, I see the icons are set to Human, instead of what I selected.

Is there a way of solving this?

Thanks in advance!

If I understand this correctly I think the problem is not that you cannot select another icon theme but rather that the icon themes you have installed do not include icons for OOo (or perhaps put them in the correct directory for you).

Hello! Thanks for the quick reply! I know the icons I installed are for OpenOffice, because the package name is "openoffice.org-styles-galaxy" or "crystal". In Hardy, I installed the same packages, and I was able to select any icon set I wanted. Maybe the directories changed since OOo 2.4? Do you know where the icons should be installed in OOo 3, and how can I change the installation directory?

Thanks!

Jaunty Openoffice.org 3.1 has this issue as well. Not critical, but would still be nice to allow user configuration of this.
