Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-themes-extras

i am using ubuntu 8.10, with latest updates, and i have installed the gnome-themes-extras package. to replicate this bug:

1. install "gnome-themes-extras" (sudo apt-get install gnome-themes-extras)

2. go to System > Preferences > Appearance

3. select any theme, and click the Customize button

4. in the "Controls" tab, select "Darklooks"

from this point on, any new application you open will be in a different theme other than Darklooks. it looks ugly and box-like. see attachment.

i am uninstalling gnome-themes-extras because of this ugly bug. when it is fixed, tell me and i will install it again to test it.
