Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-
I was having trouble logging into works VPN, its version is reported as " Cisco Systems, Inc ASA5520-K8 Version 7.0(6) built by builders on Tue 22-Aug-06 13:22 "
I spoke to the help desk who reset my password and I was informed - as I had come to expect from the cisco client, that I would need to change my password. This prompt never appeared as it normally would, instead I typed my new temporary password three times and it finally let me in.
I suspect I was interacting with a password change dialog I could not see. In a similar vein, when connecting and being rejected for password reasons the cisco VPN client informs the user of the failure reason, the network Manager gave no helpful dialog at all, it just did not connect.
