no sound after upgrade to Intrepid with a failure message from pulseaudio

Bug Description

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

I upgraded to Intrepid from Hardy using the Updates manager.

Now there's no sound and I saw a message from Pulseaudio in /var/log/messages.
It's attached (the sentence "funzione non permessa" in it is in Italian, that means "not allowed function" or something like that).

I also attach

1) the output from dmesg and from cat /proc/asound/cards
2) the output from sudo lspci -vvnn
3) the output from uname -a
