Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

In comparison with Hardy's Pidgin,
in Intrepid there are several essential features missing:
 * History plugin -- I cannot imagine using an IM without this
 * Message timestamp format plugin
 * I cannot resize area where I type the message

First two problems can be solved by upgrading Intrepid's Pidgin 2.5.2
to GetDeb's Pidgin 2.5.3a - History plugin and Message timestamp format plugin
are available here.

Can it be included in Intrepid's package please?

those are upstream changes and the new version is in jaunty now
