Bug Description

Since my migration to Intrepid, i have a strange bug :
I used to do a lot of things and at the same time watching a movie/video. But since Intrepid when there is a peak in cpu usage Smplayer just freeze and i have to clic on pause then play for having my video back.

That first occurs when i visit heavy website with a lot of flash/java with firefox, and then with all other sowftware of my computer. For example open nautilus, just using my dock...

I try to delete both .mplayer and .Smplayer file, i also try to change rendering option. No change.

The only way to have Smplayer correctly is to use an extra option : " launche Mplayer in is own window"

If someone has an idea ...

I use Hardy, so this distribution is also affected.

Smplayer plays fine for some (short) time, then it starts to stutter. I have to pause, wait a few seconds and unpause. But it repeats after a few seconds.

I'd like to mark that it IS NOT an issue when playing videos directly via mplayer or gnome-mplayer.

And I don't need to enter any "demanding" site - I tried to switch off all applications and used only Smplayer, but the behaviour didn't change.
