Bug Description
Hello,
I have a Dell D630 laptop with a "Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5755M Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express" NIC (as from lspci). Since I upgraded to Intrepid Ibex the wired connection drops repeatedly. At some random moments, the wired connection is dropped, the nm icon starts spinning pretending to connect to some wireless network and finally I get a message saying that a connection was established with the wireless network but, instead, the wired connection icon appears and the wired connection is resumed.
This seems to be related to bug #279102 although the NIC is different and I'm not using compiz.
I am attaching my dmesg and syslog files.
