Bug Description

Possibly this is similar to this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/140554

Currently using Ubuntu 8.10

X Server crashed when visiting an URL with Epiphany. I had the same experience before on Hardy when I turned the X-Server image 90°C with xrand and then tried to play movies (online and offline) or watched dvb-t.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
