I'm on Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10. Each time, they're a new available update for the package linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic, the upgrade crashes. The error is given at the end of this message. It seems to be an error about the creation of the symbolic link ./boot/vmlinuz-2.6.27-7-generic. Notice I installed Ubuntu from Windows and the /boot directory is mounted here /host/ubuntu/disks/boot/ on an nfts partition, maybe that causes the link creation error.

To resolve the problem, i have to run the following commands:
sudo aptitude remove linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic
sudo aptitude install linux-generic linux-image-generic linux-restricted-modules-2.6.27-7-generic linux-restricted-modules-generic linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic
