Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
The installer is wonderfully human except for this step. I would like to propose adding a new screen to the sequence with the following choices (of course the language needs to be updated, but the choices would be approximately as follows):
How do you want to partition the disk?
(1) Don't know/don't care, please decide the best options (warning, data may be lost).
(2) Save existing data (squish current data into a smaller partition, no data lost).
(3) Install from fresh (lose existing data).
(4) I'm an expert, let me partition the disk manually.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your ideas may have been included with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test a current, supported, Ubuntu version.
