Bug Description

Binary package hint: f-spot

I upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10 i386 Desktop Ubuntu.

When I insert a CD with images on it, I get a prompt asking if I would like to start f-spot. I click ok, the mouse turns into a busy icon for a few seconds and nothing happens. The mouse turns back into the standard pointer.

I can start f-spot from the application menu and import the files just fine. It is the auto function that seems to be broken. The same behavior occurs even if f-spot is open and running when I insert the CD.
