Bug Description

I use fresh Intrepid install.
When I open any picture by standard picture viewer (it is set to F-Spot View) it can't switch to other picture in the folder by any standard shortcut as Page Down, Spacebar or N. Moreover, it doesn't see any other picture in the folder, as I could see it on the side pane.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I think the functionality you're after is provided by 'Image Viewer'. Try right clicking the image file, choose 'Open With' -> 'Open with Image Viewer'. If you want to make this the default application for opening that file type then right click the file again and choose Properties -> 'Open With' and select 'Image Viewer'.

Thank you!

But is it expected behavior of F-Spot view? If it is so, why is it set to be default image viewer in Ubuntu? I think, that most of the users want to have such a function in default image viewer.

Anton.

I agree this is a function you'd expect in the default image viewer, but I don't think this is expected behaviour of F-Spot. On my install of intrepid Image Viewer is the default app for .jpg, .gif, .bmp. What extension are the files you're viewing?

Oh, I'm really sorry. The source of such strange behavior was that I used Krusader to browse directory with pictures. When I open pictures from Nautilus everything is fine.
