konqueror crashing when choosing profile midnight commander

Bug Description

When choosing Midnight Commander from the profile menu ('Ansichtsprofil laden' in German) konqueror crashes.
I use kubuntu 8.10.
The following is the terminal output, when started from konsole:
felix@T60:~/.kde/share/apps$ konqueror

I confirm this bug and would appreciate a bug-fix. Eventually it is only the profile that must be newly created.

This crash is fixed in KDE 4.2.
