Bug Description

I can't start ubuntu 8.04.1. Either starting from CD or installing under windows,It just can't get started, and stay at logo screen and the rating bar freezed, too. I tried refreshing BIOS to newest version, but it doesn't work.

my PC hardware list:

Mainboard: MSI 865PE
CPU: Pentium 2.8E
Display Card: ATI X800 (AGP)
Memory: Kingston 1.5G in total
Hard Drive: segate 120G SATA * 2

I don't know whether ubuntu support ATI X800, if not, what should I do?

I've tried to use kingston memories of 1GB on my motherboard ASUS A74A under Ubuntu 8.04, and my computer didn't load the enviroment grafic of my system, by other hand it worked with Windows XP.

Does anybody know what's going on?
