Bug Description
I have just upgraded to 8.10 from 8.04.
I am unable to open the directories from "Places" and find a "Document Viewer" screen with yhe message "can't open directory"
Using the File menu on the "Document Viewer" screen then opens the directory.
Previously under 8.04 the menu selection under places would open the selected directory
