I've written a patch for this which seems to work, but I don't know if it is the correct thing to do. I can successfully mount ISO images with this patch, and I get no crash.

If the patch seems sane enough, then I will forward it upstream.

Hello Chris, this looks like bug 259343 , does the fix on http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=547468 fixes also this bug for you? thanks.
