Binary package hint: vinagre
When we send ctrl+d to close a process, vinagre handles it to add bookmark.
I am filing an enhancement request which disables keyboard shortcuts in vinagre, so that they will be handled appropriately by the vnc host system.

The option is available via GConf (see bug 223060).
Jonh said he would add a graphical interface to handle this option in GNOME #530410, so let's leave this opened until such an interface is provided.
