Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-do

It should be possible to turn off automatically checking for new plugins.
When running in background in tray how it's meant to be Gnome-Do checks way too often for plugins!

gnome-do 0.6.1.0-0ubutnu2 in intrepid amd64

This seems very reasonable. In fact, it might be worthwhile to not
automatically check for new plugins at all, and require the user to hit
the "refresh" button.

Well, the interval of update checks has been corrected. But for me it is still annoying that I can't turn off this feature and check for update by myself.
It seems a bit overprotective but it is nice to control such things.

So it is possible to implement this feature?

Online repo updating has been removed in Future, we're getting rid of the online repo and moving to locally hosted plugins.
