where can we get that plugin? what kind of content does that serve?

you can get this plugin here:
http://freewrl.sourceforge.net/

it is an old plugin to run vrml files(.wrl) in firefox and linux , i was
using for works in the university... but it is over

it serve to implement virtual reality.
