Directory list should not show the word "empty"

Bug Description
When clciking on a folder in tree view it shows the word "empty" if there are no subfolders, however if there are files in the folder new users are confused when it shows the word "empty".
Solution:
Folders with no subfolders should not have and open triangle beside them.
