I once got another message in kern.log:
Nov 6 13:31:45 andre kernel: [ 625.668006] totem[10791]: segfault at 0 ip b6f0f5ee sp b51bfd58 error 6 in libc-2.8.90.so[b6e98000+158000]

Somehow after that, when I started Totem for the third time, it actually worked and the TV stream was displayed perfectly.

However, on the 4th run, it's all like it was on the beginning.
