The referenced patch doesn't solve the problem in all cases. It still doesn't work for me in most cases.
Reproduce faluty behaviour: acpi/suspend. d/07-networkman ager-sleep. sh acpi/resume. d/63-networkman ager-wake. sh
open a terminal as root
/etc/
nm-applet turns offline
pidgin looses all connections, BUT shows status as still beeing online/available
/etc/
pidgin status flickers for a fraction of a second and turns back to online, BUT
can not re-connect to any account. Instead it shows warnings, that the server names
can not be resolved.
Seems like pidgin is not notifed about online/offline or some re-connect part is missing.
