gdesklets wont start deamon timmed out

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

Hi, I am using Ubuntu 8.04- the Hardy Heron - released in April 2008. and I'm having problem starting gdesklets, it wont start, i have installed id by command sudo aptitude install gdesklets gdesklets-data.

Cannot establish connection to daemon: timeout!

thanks for the report, if you read your own report you'll see that this has nothing to do with gnome-terminal, for next time please have a look to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage; re assigning to gdesklets, thanks.

So, "The log file might help..." ;).
It can be found in ~/.gdesklets/logs/.
