Dapper Flight 3 fails to boot

Bug Description

Dapper Flight 3 hangs on Hardware Detection while booting. I can CTRL+C past it and the boot process continues, but then the XOrg server fails to load. I also see a failure to mount /selinux/ at the very beginning.

Machine is a dual xeon Dell Precision workstation with 4GB RAM. Dapper Flight 2 worked fine on the same machine. I first noticed the problem when I used synaptic to upgrade the kernel and xorg in flight 2, but confirmed it after a full format and reinstall.
