Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Could not calculate the upgrade.
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu

Can you please run 'dpkg --configure -a' in a terminal, reboot and try the upgrade again?

Sorry could you also attach the /var/log/dist-upgrade/term.log file please? This should give then give enough information to Confirm this bug.

Hi,

postgresql-plperl-8.2 seems to be the problem by looking at the logfiles.
Can you try 'sudo aptitude remove postgresql-plperl-*' this should remove the conflicting package and then you will be able to reinstall this in Intrepid after the upgrade is complete by running 'sudo aptitude install postgresql-plperl-8.3'

If this works can you please report back and let us know so we can Confirm this as a problem in the upgrade between the 2 packages.
