system tray does not redraw background in kde 4.1

Bug Description
System tray does not redraw background:
1) for tray icons it is some type of garbage, the background can be parts of other icons or some other type of garbage. I think this is mainly happening only for transparent part of the icon.
2) the background for whole system tray is black ignoring all system settings (I have not found separate settings to set colour of system tray).
I am using KDE 4.1, Ubuntu 8.10.
