plasma crash on login due to desktop background setting

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

Changed some settings, all worked. After a restart plasma crashes everytime on restart.

The following change in .kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc make the crash go away:

My above diagnosis is wrong. The desktop background does not cause it.
In attachment the working plasma-appletsrc as plasma-appletsrc.working,
and the non working as plasma-appletsrc.old
