Unable to control MPD with Sonata tray icon

Bug Description

Binary package hint: sonata

Starting from version 1.5.2-2, sonata recommends python-eggtrayicon for tray-related functionality that is unavailable in ubuntu-8.10 up to the moment instead of python-gnome2-extras package. Without either of these, MPD cannot be controlled by hitting middle mouse button (for toggling play states) on or rolling mouse wheel (for increasing/decreasing volume) over sonata's tray icon.

The quick solution is to simply install python-gnome2-extras.

python-eggtrayicon is available in karmic, ask their maintaners why they did not follow Debian packaging earlier.
