Bug Description

I have two audio cards a intel (chipset) and other encore (pci card).

I know that in SystemSettings I can select which of the two devices will be used for audio inputs and outputs. If I select the device connected by PCI (for all), can listen and record sounds perfectly, all the programs work correctly (Amarok, Audacity for example).

But if I select the integrated card, few sounds are heard as the sound of logon and logoff, but the music of Amarok not, nor some games.

I try to select all the kmix settings for use the integrated sound, but the music of Amarok and other programs don't work.

Using Windows all devices work perfectly using one device for outputs and other for inputs.

Is this still an issue in Kubuntu 8.10? (Or with KDE 4.2?)
