I use ubuntu but I have a hotmail account I've used for years, I tried upgrading to windows live per the instructions but now i cant reply or send emails using hotmail. it will not let me type text in the area we are suppose to type. I've downloaded everything I found.

I use hotmail for my email account. I logged in one day & it informed me to upgrade to "windows live", gave me the link to continue if I used "Firefox" (other examples Microsoft & safari). I downloaded the information from "Firefox" & now I can not type text in the area provided. I can forward messages but no typed text. It just sits & spins.
