Bug Description
Binary package hint: bluez-gnome
I can't search for bluetooth devices on Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10.
I try to search for bluetooth devices using the "bluetooth manager for gnome" (version 1.8) but there is no way to start the searching procedure.
My intuition told me to click with right-button-mouse over the bluetooth icon and select to configure a new device. The "device bluetooth manager wizzard" came up. I clicked on next. The window asked me to select the device I want to configure but any device appeared on the list (obviously, there weren't any devices configured yet) But tthere is no way to search for new devices.
I think that this issue depends on the "bluez-gnome" package. The version I have is 1.8-0ubuntu1. And I have the package "bluez" version 4.12-0ubuntu5
Also I tried to search my cell phone with "hcitool scan" from the terminal. It search but doesn't find my phone.
And everything was working fine with my Ubuntu 8.04.
(I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 and I made a new installation to install it, I mean I didn't upgrade the system from Ubuntu 8.04)
(Sorry for my bad English)

Ok, now it works.
Maybe an update has fixed it because I'm sure that there were no others problems (no errors on bluetooth devices, just ubuntu) before. And I wasn't the only one with this of problem. But now (and I don't know how) it is fixed.
