Bug Description
Binary package hint: systemsettings
In Kubuntu 8.10 its not possible to configure mouse gestures.
The usual preconfigured gestures, are empty and its not possible to set gestures yourself.
You can use the configuration dialog normally, it recognizes the gestures, you apply the changes but its not saved.
To reproduce:
systemsettings -> Advanced -> Input Actions -> Gesture Settings
Uncheck Disable mouse gestures globally
-> Apply
Edit any predefined Action or create a new one. For example:
systemsettings -> Advanced -> Input Actions -> Konqueror Gestures -> Back -> Gestures -> Edit...
Press and hold the left mouse button while drawing the same mouse movement 3 times
-> OK
-> Apply
Now either test the configured gesture in Konqueror (it wont work) or select another Action (for example Close Tab) and go back to the previous action (e.g. Back). The previously added gesture will be gone.
The issue already affects the default configuration as all gestures are empty out of the box, while they should be pre-configured.
