Bug Description

Binary package hint: avr-libc

Watchdog related code fails to compile for atmega324p after updating the whole Ubuntu distro from 8.04 to 8.10. This is due to the avr-libc 1.6.2 which has a bug in the avr/wdt.h file. This is fixed in avr-libc 1.6.3, which I confirmed by installing it from Debian Unstable.

Compiling wdt related code on avr-libc 1.6.2 fails with error:

main.c:xxx: warning: asm operand 0 probably doesn't match constraints
main.c:xxx: error: impossible constraint in 'asm'

We are just synced this package in Lucid from Debian so I closed this bug.

Changed in avr-libc (Ubuntu):
