Bug Description

I have a Linksys WUSB600N wireless adapter, which uses the Ralink RT2870 chipset. Ralink makes a Linux driver for this chipset(see attachment), however, it isn't included in the kernel.

I've the same network adapter. There are instructions on ubuntu forums explaining how to compile the code and make a kernel module to get this device working properly. Is there a chance it will be included in a future kernel update to eliminate that step?

The rt2870 driver has been included in the Jaunty Alphas as of kernel 2.6.28-5, however, this particular adapter does not currently work. Bug #323473 has the details.
