Transmission close-to-try problem

Hy all!

Unfortunately I cannot close the Transmission torent client to tray icon, because there is no way to do this! However ita has that function in the Hardy, there is not in the Ibex. I hope that this won't be a backstep in the evolution of transmission.

For future reference you might be interested to know that a lot of applications have bug reporting functionality built in to them. what version of Ubuntu and transmission are you running? I know about this disfunctionality in the Beta version of Ubuntu, but in the final there is a tray icon like in hardy. By klicking on that it gets minimized to tray.

The `close' menu item was removed as part of upstream ticket #1012 <http://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/1012> to get Transmission into compliance with the GNOME HIG.

As Martin says, the way to minimize to the system tray is to click on the Transmission icon there.
