Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
This concerns Ubuntu 8.10.
Selecting any of the folders in the "Places" Menu of the Gnome panel has no effect. Selecting "Computer" in Places brings up the file browser with Location computer:///, but all else fails ("Home Folder", "Desktop", "Documents", "Music", "Pictures", "Video").
Also "Places" does not show up in the "Edit Menus" view of the menus.
The only way I can currently launch a file browser is by directly clicking on a folder on the desktop.
