This problem(firefox 3. to 3.5 update) is not like Ubuntu. Firefox has created a mess. Turkeys like me have hell with sorry software. I wanted to upgrade to get away frow the adobe plug in box that is always in the way and causes me to get really P.O. I should have waited for Ubuntu to send the update down the pike to me, but the XXX adobe plug in box was more than I could live with. Situation is not critical as firefox 3.0x is still working (and the xxx plugin box). I've tried numerous installs from searching to install but still nothing works.
Thanks, you all have been great.
